The EARL Tulip 38 thinning scissors combine classic Solingen craftsmanship with the functionality of a thinning scissor. The 38 teeth create a medium cut, ideal for balanced volume reduction and harmonious structuring—perfect for versatile use in everyday salon work.
The vanadium steel used is hardened to 57±1 HRC using the traditional Solingen hardening process and enriched with alloying elements such as vanadium and molybdenum. The special tulip toothing with precisely ground tooth necks prevents hair from slipping during cutting and ensures consistent, controllable results.
The high-quality, 6-part screw system made of stainless steel reduces the effort required for cutting by up to 40%. The screw system is optimally adjusted at the factory and should not be adjusted. After a period of familiarization with the scissors, readjustment is possible.
With a 1.4 cm thumb eye offset, the EARL effectively prevents overextension of the thumb joint – even during intensive, hours-long use. The rounded, sloping finger rest provides secure grip when cutting, even during longer thinning sessions.
