As a Solingen-based company, TONDEO has naturally benefited from the technical expertise and short transport routes within the city since 1928. This allows us to produce as sustainably as possible and avoid unnecessary transport routes. Therefore, we concentrate all production steps at the Solingen site, from design and production to our own field service.
The production of our hairdressing scissors is, of course, carried out in accordance with the »Solingen Ordinance«, which means that all production steps take place at the Solingen site and the required quality standards are maintained.
To ensure this remains the case in the future, TONDEO continuously trains scissors inspectors and scissors grinders. Because only those who truly understand things can improve them. That's why we employ proven experts in their fields in all areas.

Our hairdressing scissors
Our TONDEO hairdressing scissors are created from a blank sheet of paper. We first develop the design of the hairdressing scissors. Then, the design and technology of these drafts are refined to perfection for their final intended use. This way, we don't have to make compromises to adapt the scissors' architecture to freely accessible components.

Our hairdressing scissors
Our product engineers and designers work with hairdressers to develop the perfect hairdressing scissors for every application. Once the design is finalized, the hairdressing scissors are engineered down to the smallest detail. We then create prototypes in-house. These are then tested by hairdressers and further optimized based on the test results. We continue to do this until the result is satisfactory to everyone.
